Our pieces are handcrafted out of 100% handloom fabrics for best-in-class comfort and feel. We source these fabrics primarily from handloom weavers in our home state of West Bengal.

No, we strictly use handloom fabrics for our clothes. Powerlooms would not be able to replicate the touch, feel and comfort of our fabrics.

Our solid fabrics are hand-spun as well as handwoven. Our jamdani, checkered and striped fabrics are not hand-spun but are handwoven. Both these fabrics have their own charm, and feel really soft on the skin. Handspun fabrics are heavier but have a unique handfeel unlike any other fabrics.

Our fabrics are not made of organic cotton. Unless specified otherwise in the product description, our cotton is typically not organic.

We only use azo-free and eco-friendly dyes. Our checkered and striped fabrics are yarn-dyed while solids are piece-dyed.

Whether yarn-dyed or piece-dyed, you should expect a slight bleed in the first couple of washes. We recommend hand washing separately.

However, even though all of them are eco-friendly dyes, not all of them may be natural.

At Sarron, we reuse waste fabrics to create beautiful tassels and gorgeous kantha patchwork quilts. That reduces a lot of waste created in our daily processes, however it does not eliminate all waste. Therefore, we are not a zero-waste brand.

All our fits are relaxed fits. If you need a more snug fit, you may want to go for one size down. Since we work with handwoven fabrics and handcrafted garments, we recommend going with a relaxed fit for long-lasting comfort.

Our garments are handcrafted with love, so they need a tender touch during a wash.

Always hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent, and expect some bleed in first 1-2 washes. Dry inside out in shade.

We recommend hand wash instead of dry clean for our cotton pieces. Even for silks, hand wash should be fine but you can go for dry clean if you prefer that. Note that each dry clean facility uses a different set of chemicals which may harm your clothes in the long run.

Our products have a unique character and imperfections due to their handcrafted nature and handloom fabrics. They may have slight irregularities, meaning that you will own a truly one-of-a-kind product!

We take pictures of our products in various lighting conditions to give you the most accurate representation. However, due to differences in camera perspective and the handmade nature of our items, there may be very slight variations in color between batches.

We can either a) send you a replacement at no extra charge, b) provide store credit for the same amount, or c) issue a full refund for the damaged items.
